Olivia Lee is an award-winning performer and writer with an extensive track record of creating and writing her own television shows. She currently has multiple scripted projects in development with production companies and broadcasters in both the UK and the US. Her feature screenplay Pardon The Interruption recently won Best Comedy Screenplay at the prestigious Prague Screenplay Awards 2024. The script has also received official selections from the New York Script Awards, International World Film Awards, and Budapest Movie Awards, and earned an Honorable Mention at the Los Angeles Film and Script Awards. In addition, it was a finalist for both the Filmmatic Comedy Screenplay Awards and the WeScreenplay Awards. Her half-hour comedy pilot Scapegoat is currently a finalist for the Outstanding Screenplay TV Pilot Awards. Olivia began her career as a comedy performer and rose to prominence on Channel 4s hit series Balls of Steel, where she starred in her own segment, Prank TV with Miss Lee. Following its success, she created her own comedy show for Channel 4, Olivia Lees Naughty Bits. This led to the creation of her Comedy Central series Olivia Lee: Dirty, Sexy, Funny, which ran for two successful seasons. Her work gained attention in the US, leading to regular appearances on NBCs The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, where she both wrote and starred in her own recurring comedy segment. This exposure resulted in truTV commissioning her comedy pilot The Olivia Lee Show, produced by Ben Stiller through his company Red Hour. More recently, she created and starred in the Channel 4 pilot Make Me A Misogynist, in which she played a male character. As an actress, she has appeared in numerous well-known television sitcoms. Olivia also released her debut album with Universal Records, Mindful Mum: How Not To Lose Your Total Fucing Sht, offering a unique and irreverent take on mindfulness. The album was a hit and has since been adapted into a live show titled Olivia Lee: Losing Her Total Fucing Sht, which celebrates female anger and explores toxic femininity. A tour of the show is currently in development.
