Laura Resende Reis is an independent award winner filmmaker from São Paulo, Brazil. She created a very unique style so called "pink horror films" with her debut "Cherry on Top (2024)". Pink horror films are horror movies that mix the duality of colorful aesthetics with a horrifying and gory story. "Cherry on Top (2024)" gained its popularity on the internet with an youthful and engaged audience that built fanbases and a lot of love around the pink universe.
