Walid Ahmed is an award-winning Film Director, Writer, Lyricist, Author, and Presentation Skills Trainer from Bangladesh. His contributions to cinema and music have been recognized both nationally and internationally, including the Best Film Director award at the Global Independent Film Festival (India) and nominations at prestigious events such as the Suchitra Sen International Film Festival (USA) and the Dhaka International Film Festival (2024). Over the past decade, Walid has established himself as a versatile creative force, making significant contributions as a director, screenwriter, lyricist, and music composer. His directorial works—Kathgolap, Borsha Bihone, Baatir Shohore, Dreams, and Chircutt Er Gaan—reflect his artistic depth and commitment to exploring diverse themes and emotions through visual storytelling. His feature film Megher Kopat further solidified his reputation for distinctive style and emotional resonance. Internationally, Walid has collaborated with Zee Music in Bollywood, directing music videos for celebrated artists such as Udit Narayan and Vikrant Vartia, showcasing his cross-cultural influence. As a lyricist and composer, he has also worked with leading Bangladeshi and Indian singers, blending soulful lyrics with memorable melodies.
