Low quality, low budget... but perfectly watchable. Admittedly I've only been able to view the "short version" (still roughly 54 minutes, though) of this, as strangely the filmmakers decided to only make that version available as opposed to releasing the entire thing (not even clear how long the 'actual' version is, seemingly no more than two hours based on an online local cinema listing I found for it) - annoying! Still, at least there is a film out of the Comoros that <em>is</em> possible to watch online with English subtitles (highly appreciated!) - only one I could find. I found <em>'Miadi'</em> to be relatively well made, it's lacking in the acting department a tad but I totally felt the emotional side of the (rather dark) story as intended - the solid score helps. As for those onscreen, Ahmed Toiouil (also dir.) gives a decent performance - everyone else is fine.
