In terms of acting, I think the film is quite strong, especially in its dramatic moments. The emotional scenes feel alive, and the cast delivers the conflicts in a convincing way. There are a few intense moments that are handled really well, making the dramatic aspect stand out as one of the film’s biggest strengths. However, I personally didn’t enjoy the comedic elements that much. Some of the jokes feel overly vulgar and rely on crude humor, such as scenes involving drinking saliva, urine, or references to dog feces. To me, this kind of humor feels forced and ends up disrupting the serious tone that the film tries to build. Instead of adding balance, it weakens the emotional impact of the story. The film is also promoted as highlighting the natural beauty and landscapes of North Sumatra. While there are several outdoor scenes featuring nature, the visual presentation doesn’t feel fully realized. The cinematography and camera work, in my opinion, resemble a television production more than a cinematic feature film, so the overall visual atmosphere feels less immersive than expected. As for the storyline, this is purely based on my personal experience. For me, the plot felt fairly predictable from early on, leaving little room for surprise. Perhaps other viewers might still find it engaging, but personally, I felt that the story didn’t offer enough tension or unexpected turns, which made parts of the film feel somewhat dull. Overall, the film shows strong potential in its dramatic side, but several aspects make the overall viewing experience feel rather average to me.
