Natalia

On her 25th birthday, Natalia is a young mother who lives with her son in a rented room somewhere in La Boca. Her life passes between the care of her son Tomás, and the care of Rodolfo, an eighty-year-old man who is bedridden, and with his passport for most of the day.
There’s not a great deal to this short feature, but it does make for quite a touching observation of a young mother “Natalia” (Guadelupe Docampo) who leaves her young son each morning before heading to an apartment where she takes care of a bed-ridden, elderly, gentleman. He is blissfully unaware that she trims his beard for him as he lies there before she returns home on the bus to her lad for some fun before she lies beside him as he sleeps. The youngster doesn’t really feature enough, but his scenes walking and playing with his mum then snoozing beside her have an innocence to them that make this worth a look.
