Overview

Mann Chalay Ka Sauda is a drama serial written by Ashfaq Ahmed and was first aired by PTV (Pakistan Television) Network in early 90s. It’s a story of a spiritual journey of Irshad, a multi-millionaire divorcee, encountering the emptiness of material success, embarks on a spiritual journey seeking truth and meaning about his inner self and his spiritual being. As he shifts from worldly pursuits to a spiritual quest, he faces challenges: temptations of his former life, internal struggles, and the pull between material and spiritual value.

**One of the Greatest Series from PTV's Golden Era** I have seen a lot of Movies and TV. But I can safely say to the very least that I have never seen a greater content/subject for a TV show and greater TV screen acting in my life. Ashfaq Ahmad brought a spiritual story on screen and it couldn't have been done better than this. It may be a little boring at times and production standards are also not that god but it still makes an everlasting impact on the viewer. Firdaus Jamal performing four different characters in the show, and that too with near perfection, is cherry on top. Too bad it didn't get the international recognition it deserved.
